Bryan High Girls Softball Wins in Quarterfinals, Summer School Enrollment Open

Bryan ISD Community Outreach Officer Dr. Hugo Ibarra stopped in at the KEOS studios this morning to give our listeners an update on happenings and events in the Bryan Independent School District.  The Bryan High School Lady Vikings Softball team scored a win in their first game against the Waco Midway Pantherettes in the regional Quarterfinals and will play them again this evening at 6:00 PM.  Two wins takes the championship.  Fans can cheer them on in person at Bryan High School where tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, or listen to the game free online at bcsball.com.  Summer school registration for those who have been invited to attend or would like to attend one of the free and open to all Power Camps in July is open now on the Bryan ISD website through Tuesday May 18th.  As COVID restrictions are relaxed, face masks will become optional in the Bryan ISD effective July 1st,  Special thanks to Central Texas Sports Medicine and Texas A&M Physicians for providing free physical exams for hundreds of 7th through 12th grade Bryan ISD student athletes at Bryan and Rudder High Schools recently.  The Bryan ISD Education Foundation celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week last week by honoring them with a full page ad that appeared in Friday’s edition of The Eagle and presenting all of them with a $50 gift card to Target.
