!!TWENTY YEARS of ALL VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY RADIO!!

In March 2015 KEOS 89.1FM celebrates twenty years of continuous on-air broadcasting—one of the very few remaining radio stations in the nation to have an all-volunteer staff, as KEOS has had from the beginning. Several wonderful DJs have hosted since the earliest days, and novices join each week to learn the process and carry on the tradition. New volunteers are welcome.

Many small, non-profit radio and tv stations receive support from a major university or even the US government. KEOS does not. Except for small grants from The Arts Council of the Brazos Valley and the Plass Foundation, all KEOS support is provided by listeners and by local small-business owners.

THANK YOU!!

You, the community in Community Radio, permit us to pay our monthly bills — mortgage, phone, utilities, tower rental— In the past year, you enabled us to upgrade dangerously outdated air-conditioning units and broadcasting equipment and to accumulate over half the funds needed to raise our tower height to increase broadcast range.

And so, with a new spring comes
