KEOS Lone Star Music Series

KEOS Community Radio is pleased to announce that Sam Baker will be performing at the Grand Stafford Theater in downtown Bryan on Friday, March 27!

Sam Baker is a Texan singer/songwriter who has been recognized by Rolling Stone as having one of the top 10 Country Albums for 2013. Baker’s lyrics are known to tell a story that encapsulates his audience. In 1986, Baker was almost killed by a train bombing in Peru. He had to relearn how to use his body and brain, taking years to heal. These years have given him time to reflect, and he states that the road back was arduous, but it opened up new vistas in art, poetry, and music. Below is a link to his website as well as an interview with NPR.
