We are your listener-sponsored, commercial-free, nonprofit, all-volunteer public community radio station for the Brazos Valley since 1995.
KEOS 89.1 FM is Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensed non-commercial educational radio station broadcast from Bell Studio in Bryan, TX.
We are committed to the creation of radio broadcasting by and for a public of diverse cultures, ages, income levels, and backgrounds under-served and under-represented by other media in our area.
KEOS provides musical, cultural, and informational programming that celebrates and expresses the diversity of the community. It provides a voice for groups in the community that may otherwise go unheard, sustaining a forum for alternative points of view on local, national, and international issues, with particular awareness to women, students, labor, minorities, and other public interest constituencies.
Our station promotes understandings between cultures and serves as a catalyst for positive social change within the community.
KEOS provides programming, access, and training to the community, with significant participatory opportunities to students of Texas A&M University, Blinn Community College, and other area schools and colleges.
The station has 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service.
We are proud members of the Texas Association of Broadcasters and the Downtown Bryan Association and an affiliate of The Arts Council of the Brazos Valley.

Bucky Bachmeyer
Member
Matthew “Bucky” Bachmeyer has been an almost-lifetime resident of the Brazos Valley. Moving to College Station in 1998, he graduated from Texas A&M University and quickly after helped start the Bryan-College Station-based band Great American Boxcar Chorus (GABC). As the original drummer for 12 years, he toured Texas, played tons of shows, and co-created Harestock, an annual charity music festival. He has also enjoyed being the local Brazos Valley Coordinator for Toys for Tots for the past 11 years. He created Big Red Drum Entertainment, a booking, promotion and concert production company. Big Red Drum Entertainment has enjoyed hosting showcases at SXSW, Folk Alliance, Int’l, Americanafest, and has been featured in Billboard Magazine. Out of a necessity to further the pursuits of independent Texas artists, he booked and produced shows all over B-CS and beyond. His passion for music and nonprofit has allowed him to work with almost every local band, artist, venue, and organization, booking and producing thousands of shows of all kinds over a 15-year run that continues today. When he’s not dealing in music, he enjoys festivals, volunteering, cooking, the outdoors, planting/gardening, his cats, and rare travel adventures.
John Bondurant
Secretary
John joined the KEOS board in 2017. He serves as the Digital Archivist for the Cushing Memorial Library and Archives at Texas A&M University. Besides supporting community radio broadcasting, John is interested in all types of music — from opera to metal — and plays slide guitar.
Guy Milford

After college and service in the U. S. Air Force, Guy Milford worked 30 years for Bell System companies, holding management positions in public relations, advertising, marketing, and government relations. In retirement, he enjoys reading, taking care of his cats, and restoring an antique car. His wife, Sandra, also retired, was until recently a professor at Texas A&M University. Guy has served on the Board of Directors of KEOS for several years and believes the station fills a very important niche in the Bryan-College Station information community.
