Safety A Top Priority as Students Return to Learn in Bryan Independent School District Next Thursday August 20th

As school resumes for students in the Bryan Independent School District next Thursday, August 20th things will be much different and the focus is on safety.  All have made a choice between in-person learning in a classroom or distance learning from home as classes start for the 2020-2021 school year.  Stephen F. Austin Middle School Principal Kimberly Giesenschlag joins Community Outreach Officer Dr. Hugo Ibarra this week to tell us about how the school year is going to go with COVID-19.

Precautions are being taken to keep everyone safe.  Mrs. Giesenschlag explains what instruction will look like this year, and share the excitement and enthusiasm being expressed by the teachers and staff as they get to see students face to face for the first time since before Spring Break in March.  Teachers are back on campus and preparations are being made.  Listen in and find out what they’ve been working on and how instruction will be delivered for both in-person and distance learners in the Bryan Independent School District.
