Fine Arts Takes Center Stage at Bryan ISD

Bryan ISD Director of Fine Arts Patrick Corbett joined Public Outreach Officer Dr. Hugo Ibarra in the studio this week to tell listeners about the opportunities offered to students in the Bryan Independent School District through the Department of Fine Arts. Art, Band, Choir, Dance, Elementary Music, Orchestra and Theatre classes are offered to all students at all campuses from Pre-K through the 12th grade.

While instruction is being offered on-line the home learners have the opportunity to participate in Fine Arts activities and programs on campus.  Mr. Corbett discussed how the Fine Arts program has adapted during this time of COVID-19 to deliver instruction, practice and rehearsal in a safe environment.

He also addressed changes in plans for UIL competitions for the fall, facilities upgrades that are coming to the Theatre at the Bryan ISD Performing Arts Center, and how parents and community members can be involved in and support the Fine Arts programs in Bryan ISD.
