Bryan ISD Athletics Develops the Whole Person through Education and Competition

Bryan ISD Public Outreach Officer Dr. Hugo Ibarra was joined in the studio this week by Bryan ISD  Executive Director of Student Health, Fitness & Athletics Janice Williamson.  Mrs. Willamson shared with listeners information about the various sports programs offered by Bryan ISD and her role in coordinating them.

From the traditional track and field sports of Football and Softball to Swimming, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Golf and the Kickstart program Bryan ISD Athletics offers something for all students.  She also had information about how spectators will be safely accommodated, including details on how to order tickets or even view some of the events online.  COVID-19 safety precautions following UIL guidelines and direction from Governor Abbott are in place and there are plans for everyone to be able to attend games either in person or virtually.  She invites everyone in the community to come out to the games to cheer on their favorite student athletes and show their support!
