Yep, renowned raconteur and Governor Of The Heart Of Texas Kinky Friedman (www.kinkyfriedman.com) is once again touring his beloved state of Texas behind his first album of new material in 39 years, The Loneliest Man I Ever Met.  The legendary outlaw country singer/songwriter, novelist and Texas Jewboy recorded the Avenue A Records/Thirty Tigers disc mixing originals with interpretations of the music of his greatest contemporaries.  It has received rave reviews across the board, making it Kinky’s best and most popular release ever.

The tour starts in Bryan, TX, at the Village Cafe, 210 W. 26th St., on Tuesday, September 20th and finishes in Tomball on the 27th. Kinky will be performing solo, and his long-time pal, Brian Kanof, will be auctioning off bottles in every town of Man In Black Tequila (which is co-owned by Brian, Kinky and a third party) to benefit the Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch.

Kinky Friedman has been a long-time supporter of independent, community radio, and he is generously donating proceeds from the meet-and-greet at the Village to KEOS 89.1 FM. Tickets for the concert only are $30, and tickets for the concert and meet-and-greet to benefit KEOS are available for $45. To get your tickets, stop by Village Café or click here to order your tickets online:   https://www.eventbrite.com/e/kinky-friedman-at-the-village-tickets-4401428792
